The Hows of Housing: How do I avoid being short-changed when buying a property?

Investing can be a daunting task, especially for those who are new to it. 😓💢

With so much information readily available online, it can be overwhelming to know where to start and what to believe. 👩‍💻 This was my case at the very beginning. 👉🙋‍♀️

If you’re just like me, you probably want to start your investing journey but aren’t sure where to begin. This #PodcastOfTheWeek is a great resource to get started. 🎧

I heard important quotes like “Never invest in something you don’t know” and “When investing in something that doesn’t have a guaranteed return, that is Speculation,” but unfortunately, I learned these lessons the hard way. 🤦‍♀️💸

As I aimed to grow my investment portfolio, I considered investing in rental properties for cash flow. However, before diving in, I wanted to know more about the real estate market in the Philippines.

I looked for real estate podcasts, but to my dismay, most of them were from real estate agents or brokerage companies that focused on getting people to buy a property from them rather than providing useful information for those who wanted to invest. 🏡💰

Thankfully, I came across “The Hows of Housing,” which was the best local housing podcast I could find so far. 💯 Although it focused on educating people who wanted to buy a house to live in rather than to rent out, it still provided valuable insights on what to know before buying a property and the laws surrounding the documents involved. 📃
